Som Mimesis, un jove col·lectiu d'art psiquedèlic de Barcelona. Estem tenint la fortuna de poder compartir el nostre art en diversos llocs com Perú, Romania, Portugal, Bèlgica, Itàlia, Serbia, Alemanya, Holanda, França, Suïssa, Hongría... I com cada cop més de vosaltres sabeu, l'any 2014 vam decidir crear la nostra festa de la decoració per fer un gran muntatge a casa nostra (Catalunya) i tractar d'ajuntar la familia, a més d'arribar a nova gent i que coneguéssin la cultura que ens té captivats. El nom que li vam posar al projecte va ser MIMESIA.
El projecte de Mimesia pretén ser això, i amb dues festes a l'any, coïncidint amb el final de la temporada d'open air's la primera i abans de que torni a començar la segona, tornarem a posar tota la carn a la graella per transportar-vos a la dimensió de Mimesis i que totes vivim una nit inolvidable!! Com sempre, ens agrada ser molt clars i transparents amb les nostres intencions, així que repassem els punts que defineixen el nostre concepte per aquesta 4ª edició:
EL NOM, “4th TRIP TO MIMESIA!"; Creiem que ja sobren explicacions… Construïm una dimensió efímera durant unes hores i us convidem a que viatjeu (“Trip”) a ella! Per 4t cop, ens mantenim fidels al format i concepte, però sempre volent oferir quelcom diferent i que millori tots els anteriors “Trips”!
DECORACIÓ; Novament creiem que tothom que ha vingut a alguna de les anteriors edicions ja sap què es pot esperar… El millor i més ambiciós muntatge indoor de Mimesis que podeu veure… PERÒ, per aquest 4th Trip, a més, teniem una sorpresa guardada que acabem d'anunciar; ESTEM FENT NOVA DECORACIÓ ESPECIAL PER AQUEST DIA!!
MÚSICA; Com sabeu, des de la primera Mimesia hem apostat molt fort per portar els nostres artistes preferits i garantir la màxima qualitat i varietat musical. També amb el compromís de seguir potenciant i augmentant l’aposta a mida que veiem la resposta del públic. Per això contarem amb 4 LIVE SETS I 2 DJ SETS INTERNACIONALS!!
El cap de cartel indiscutible el teníem pendent des que vàrem començar a gestar aquest concepte, doncs des de fa anys és un dels sets més contundents i enèrgics de l’escena internacional, i tot això amb un estil completament diferent i propi, que ha reinventat el que es coneix com “Nitzho-Goa”; AGNETON!! Simplement us recomanem que mireu videos de les seves actuacions per a veure què esperar-hi!!
També molt pendent teníem el portar a el primer productor de la península seleccionat per Suntrip Records, que en molt poc temps s’ha convertit ja en una indiscutible promesa del Goa voltant per tot el món amb el seu live set; MORPHIC RESONANCE!!
I en la línia de reforçar i mantener el que veiem que ha funcionat als anteriors Trip’s (L’ambient a l’opening de Reasonandu del 3rd Trip va ser simplement impressionant!), tal i com ens vam comprometre hem volgut portar un productor de chill de primer nivell per obrir la nit. I no un qualsevol, recordeu el seu nom perquè per nosaltres és sens dubte un dels nous productors amb més talent, i segur que el veurem als grans festivals ben aviat; PIETER PAN!!
També contarem amb la sorpresa també del 1r nou live a Mimesia de CELS MIMESIS, que després d’haver estat actuant a molts grans festivals aquest any sorprenent i aconseguint molt bones critiques, s’estava reservant el retorn a Catalunya per a una ocasió especial! (farà més d’un any que no fa el seu live uptempo per aquí 😉 ), estigueu al cas, que hem tingut a la bèstia de Mimesis oculta! 😛
Completaràn el viatge de la sala els DJ’s de Mimesis, ja coneguts i habituals de l’escena amb les seves visions particulars i diferents; BAHR MIMESIS amb el seu potent Psytrance melòdic i CÉSAR MIMESIS amb el seu enèrgic i profund Goa.
Per la sala progressiva, la novetat del 3rd Trip va ser AZADEE, i el tancament que va fer… simplement un dels millors sets que hem vist mai al Mandawa, així que per mèrits propis tornarà a fer tremolar la sala proggy!
Un altre que torna, també per mèrits propis, és en MAWSKI, que ja porta dos Trips fent mèrits per convertir-se pràcticament en un DJ resident de Mimesia.
I com sempre completant la sala progresiva tractem de comptar amb els millors DJ’s locals que sempre han donat suport a Mimesis i compartit mil i una festes junts; KULLE i CRAM!
LLOC; A nivell de lloc, per accessibilitat, format, relació, vincle... LA CASA DE MIMESIA ÉS I SERÀ EL MAMA MANDAWA (Cerdanyola del Vallès). Un dels llocs en que hem crescut com a decoradors, i on sempre ens han tractat com a familia. Probablement molts/es de vosaltres ja coneixeu lo bé que s'està amb el seu sostre alt i amplitud, que fa que ens oblidem de que estem a cobert i ens transportem a la sensació d'estar vivint un mini-festival, a part de tenir una amplia terrassa on airejar-se.
En resum, com veieu, volem tornar a donar el millor de nosaltres, i fer-ho rodejats de familia, així que us convidem a visitar Mimesia el proper dissabte 20 de Febrer!!

We are Mimesis, a young psychedelic art collective from Barcelona. We're having the fortune to share our art in various places such as Perú, Romania, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Serbia, Germany, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Hungary... And as day by day more of you know, the year 2014 we decided to create our decoration party in order to create a big mounting at our home (Catalonia) and try to summon all the Family, with the intention to got into new people to meet the culture that fascinates all of us. The name chosen for this project was MIMESIA.
The project “Mimesia” pretends to be exactly this, with two per year màximum, subject to open airs final season the first of them, and before they start the other, we are going to put all our best to teleport you to the Mimesis dimension letting us live an unforgettable night!! As always, we like to be really clear and transparent with our intentions, so we review the points that defines our concept for this 4th edition:
THE NAME, “4th TRIP TO MIMESIA!”; We think no need explanations already… We build an ephemeral dimension for some hours and invite you to “Trip” to it! For 4th time, we keep loyal to the format and concept, but always looking for offer something different and that improves all the past “Trips”!
DECORATION; Again we think that all who came to any of the previous editions know already what to expect… The best and more ambitious indoor mounting of Mimesis that you can see… BUT, for this 4th Trip, also, we were keeping a surprise that just announced; WE'RE DOING NEW DECORATION SPECIAL FOR THIS DAY!!
MUSIC; As you know, since the first Mimesia we bet strongly to bring our favourite artists and guarantee the top quality and musical variety. Also with the compromise of keep on boosting and rising up the bet following the response of the public. Cause of this we’ll count with 4 INTERNATIONAL LIVE SETS AND 2 INTERNATIONAL DJ SETS!!
The questionless headliner was pending since we started thinking on this concept, as for years is one of the most strong and energetic sets of the international scene, and all this with a completely own and different style, that reinvented what is known as “Nitzho-Goa”; AGNETON!! We simply recommend you to look for videos of his acts to see what to expect!!
Also we had really pending to bring the first producer of the peninsula selected by Suntrip Records, that in a short time became already an upcoming talent of Goa, travelling around the world with his live set; MORPHIC RESONANCE!!
And on the line of boost and keep what we saw that worked at the previous Trip’s (the vibe at Reasonandu’s opening on 3rd Trip was simply impressive!), as we said we wanted to bring a top producer of chill to open the night, and not any one, remember his name cause for us he’s with no doubt one of the most talented new producers, and sure we’ll see him soon at the big festivals; PIETER PAN!!
Also we’ll have the surprise of the 1st new live at Mimesia of CELS MIMESIS, that after acting in many festivals this year, surprising and getting nice feedback, was keeping his return to Catalonia for an special ocassion! (will be more than a year without performing his uptempo live here 😉 ), keep an eye on him, cause we had the Mimesis beast hidden! 😛
The DJ sets of Mimesis will complete the trip of this room, already known and usuals of the scene with their particular and different visions; BAHR MIMESIS with his powerful melodic Psytrance and CÉSAR MIMESIS with his energetic and deep Goa.
For the progressive room, the novelty of the Trip was AZADEE, and the closing he made… simply one of the best sets we ever saw at Mama Mandawa, so for own achievements he’ll shake again the proggy room!
Another that returns, also for own achievements, is MAWSKI, that has been already 2 Trips making merits to become almost a resident DJ of Mimesia.
And as always, completing the progressive room, we try to count on the best local DJ’s that always supported Mimesis and shared a lot of parties together; KULLE and CRAM!
WHERE; About the place, by format, accesibility, relation, vinculation... THE HOME OF MIMESIA IS AND WILL BE THE MAMA MANDAWA (Cerdanyola del Vallès). One of the places in which we have grown as decorators, and where we always have been treated as family. Probably many of you already know that the high ceiling and the amplitude of the club are very comfortable for dancing. The sensation is almost like a mini-festival. Furthermore there is a big terrace to get some fresh air.
To sum up, as you can see, we want to bring once again our best, and do it surrounded with family, so we invite you to visit Mimesia the next Saturday 20th February!!

Si vienes desde Barcelona puedes coger las líneas R4 (dirección Terrassa/Manresa) ó R7 (dirección Martorell UAB). Bajar en la parada de Cerdanyola del Vallès.

Si vienes desde Barcelona puedes coger el NIT BUS durante toda la noche en diferentes puntos, incluida la estación de autobuses de Plaza Catalunya, líneas N64 y N62
